It’s been a busy week. We met up with the plumber to discuss all things watery and managed to be on site as our joinery was being delivered. Cue much excitement, especially when I spotted something with my name on. Lots of chat about taps, toilets and tanks, and the realisation that pretty soon this little retro dream home will be complete. But first, a few more decisions. Starting with the toilet. *sighs*

Very great to see the joinery arrive! You’re never sure about the decisions you’ve made in theory, until they actually arrive and you see them in the flesh. So delighted to find that the bronze tinted windows are exactly what we hoped for and the front door is perfect. We’ll have to wait to see what Florence thinks of her cat flap window.
