Building a house means making decisions. Lots and lots and lots of them. Luckily there’s help on hand, so this week we met up with the electrician to discuss, funnily enough, electric. Which basically means power, plugs, switches, lights and most importantly, where will the sub woofer sit? Most of which the experts can help with. Lights, on the other hand, is up to us. And it’s not until you actually start thinking about these things that you realise how crucial it all is. How many lights does the living area need? How do we get power into a 7 foot shelving unit? Where will I straighten my hair? Anyone got any bright ideas?

A lot of the time spent on site involves standing around looking at things. Good job I haven’t got a short attention span…
As for progress? We have a roof! Which has come in handy with the recent weather.
