The First Cut

First week of the build and some wooden things have appeared in the ground (really should get Shane to write more of the technical details). Nonetheless, it’s exciting. You may have noticed the little house comes with a fair bit of land. New to us and a little daunting, so we’re going to invest in a landscape gardener to give us a plan to work to over the next few years. Any keen gardeners will know these things take time and a good plan will help us spread the cost and prioritise planting. But before we do any of that, we need to see what we’re dealing with. And what equipment we’ll need to tackle a section of this size. So the boys got stuck in this weekend with the first cut. If you like the sound of mowers and people shouting and pointing at things, this post is for you. Thanks Tex. Hope you managed to wash that dust off.

She’s out of the ground!

  1. Shane in gumboots? Never thought I’d see the day! And paying someone to sweep the drive with a tree? Now I’ve seen everything! S & R, your profiles looking good!
